Cavok’s
circumnavigation via the Great Capes has been postponed

Breaking
News: Jean-Pierre Fréry, skipper of Cavok, has had to postpone his project for
circumnavigating the world, non-stop, via the Great Capes with less than a
month to before the scheduled departure date. This is due to professional
reasons. The short-term prospects for the development of his company, Chemins
d'Océans, as well as the follow-up of projects already set in motion, require
full involvement, incompatible with being away for nearly six months. A
realisation which the skipper admits to having underestimated. Jean-Pierre,
General Manager for 10 years of the company that he himself created, is
evaluating the consequences that could be caused by his absence: "I have
thought long and hard, and my sense of responsibility is going to make me stay
ashore this year. It's not been an easy decision, with just a few weeks left
before the scheduled departure. In the immediate future, I’ll be resuming my
work, and more specifically, the catamaran and custom divisions. However, the
project has not been cancelled: Cavok is ready to set off, and will remain so.
This non-stop trip around the world via the Great Capes has been on my mind for
twenty years, so I’m not going to let go of this challenge!"

A bientôt j'espère.mpn mail perso : zboinng@gmail.com
